Luxury Custom Building with Concrete:
Turning a Dream into a Staircase Reality

A JCB client visiting the Middle East saw a circular staircase, that blew him away.
He snapped several pictures and when he returned to Florida, he showed them to Brett.
"I want that staircase in my house," he said— unequivocally.

Brett saw right away that:

It had to be concrete—maybe 45 yards (about 90 tons)
Poured in a single day, across five truckloads
The home was already renovated, furnished, and occupied

Three concrete companies that tackle large concrete staircases had already bowed out of bidding.

Brett took a breath and said: "We can do that.”

It started as a vision—
captured in a floor plan rendering, imagined from a Middle Eastern photo.

But turning that vision into a floating concrete staircase would require more than brute force. It demanded expert carpentry and flawless execution.

Brett’s team began by building a custom wooden structure—meticulously engineered to support 45 yards of concrete in a single pour.

The concrete cures.

The forms come off and reveal bare concrete. Not pretty.

But now ready to receive the fragile limestone.

JCB installed that too!

Imported Turkish limestone gives the stairs a beautiful finished surface!

Limestone is very breakable. It does not have good tensile strength. It needs to be set down down on a surface that does not shift or flex or move at all.

Well formed concrete is the perfect base.
